5 Important Things To Remember As You Approach Your 30’s

So you’re approaching the “dirty 30’s” and you’re wondering where the time went. Worst yet, if you haven’t met your life partner or found your dream career, panic may be setting in. We say stop panicking! Here’s a few things we’d like you to remember as you approach your thirties. First up;

Self confidence is the best outfit. Rock it and own it!

By your late 20’s you really should care less about seeking validation from others. Between your high school years and your 20’s- you’ve been there done that! As you approach your thirties, own your achievements as well as your failures.

Your health is your wealth

The body is a temple. So no, you can’t continue to order in each day, skip breakfast or go to bed at 2 am on a regular basis. Chances are, by the time you’ve reached your late 20’s, your metabolism has slowed down and your favourite sundress no longer fits. So exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet and most importantly love what you see in the mirror each day.

Trust your intuition

As women, intuition is our superpower. How many times have you ignored your inner voice and lived to regret it? As you approach your 30’s learn to stand by your decisions. Stop saying yes when you really want to say no. Alone time and regular meditation will help fine tune your inner voice.

Stay focused and be amazed at what you can accomplish

It’s OK to focus on you. This is your time to figure out what you’re good at, try things out , make mistakes , learn and grow! Once you know what you’re passionate about, focus on it and become the best at it.

Being single gives you time to be by yourself, with yourself

Learn to enjoy your own company. Discover what you like to do. Take up a new hobby or learn a new skill. Think of the type of person you want to attract and work toward becoming that person. What we see in others, good or bad, is a reflection of our own self anyway, so rather than pining for someone to come into your life, work on uncovering those parts of yourself.
